My Top 5 Books I Want To Read in Summer 2024

After long grueling months of studying and working, summer has finally arrived. There is no time better than this to catch up on your unfinished books, that long TBR sitting in your notes app, and that huge stack of books sitting in the corner of your room.

Here are the books that i want to read while enjoying my very long summer break:

1 Beach Read by Emily Henry

I think it was a given that this book would be on top of the list.

Being a reader and writer are the only things that bring me peace in my life, and reading about two writers rediscovering themselves in completely new fields? Sign me up!!

I cannot wait to start this book and dive into the journey of other writers and hopefully get inspired to keep going with my own writing.

2 People We Meet On Vacation by Emily Henry

Let's be real with each other, when it comes to romantic summer reads Emily Henry is our girl.

People We Meet On Vacation is about two best friends finding their way back to each other and what better way to do that than revisiting the old memories and experiences.

I had my eyes set on this book  for a long time now, and now that i finally have time for it i'll be enjoying it from start to finish.

3 Book Lovers by Emily Henry

Another one by Emily Henry, but what can i say these colorful covers and captivating description make me want to binge read every single one of her books.

Book Lovers, like many other books has been sitting in my TBR for a while now and there is not better time to pull it out of the stack.

Nora and Charlie don't even like each other, however faith keeps throwing them together in numerous coincidences, how long will it take them to realise their true feelings? Let's read and see

4 The Seven Year Slip by Ashley Poston

This will be my first book to read by Ashley Poston.

Many of my friends have given it amazing reviews and recommended to me so it is safe to say that i already like it before even reading it.

Being a nominee for Best Romance of 2023 on Goodreads, I know this will live up to the expectations and i won't be able to move past it for at least a couple months.

5 Just for The Summer by Abby Jimenez

The description of this book just makes me want to drop my other 5 unfinished books and start on it.

Abby Jimenez is also an author that i haven't yet had the chance to read any of her books but i know this one will get a 4 stars from me.

I love the beautiful colorful cover, especially that cute little puppy, its truly giving summer vibes and i cannot wait to start it.

These are my top 5 books i want to read this summer, and i surely will read them (if i don't get sidetracked by other books)

What about you? What are the books you are planning on reading this summer? I hope you find one of your favorites in this list.
